Operations Manager
Precision-focused operator with a passion for the land

Mitch is a key force behind Provision’s field delivery, bringing over 1,000 hours of drone flight time and 7 years of hands-on experience in pest control and environmental monitoring. As Operations Manager and senior pilot, he leads the planning and execution of drone missions across some of Aotearoa’s toughest and most remote terrain.

With a background in Environmental Science and a sharp eye for detail, Mitchell has carved out a niche as a specialist in thermal drone operations and aerial surveying. His deep understanding of land systems and field dynamics means every mission is grounded in practical, efficient, and accurate delivery.

Driven by a love of the outdoors and a passion for New Zealand’s environment, Mitchell thrives on pushing drone innovation forward — especially where cutting-edge technology can solve hard conservation problems. Mitchell’s leadership, technical skills, and grounded approach make him a trusted go-to for both the team and our clients when reliable results are mission-critical.

Field-ready, steady-handed, and sharp-eyed

Charlie brings a powerful mix of practical field knowledge and drone expertise, backed by 250+ hours of flight time and more than a decade of experience in pest control and the agricultural sector. With a deep background spanning over seven years in land-based operations and five years focused on pest management, he’s a dependable operator who knows how to get results.

Specialising in thermal drone operations, Charlie is equally at home working solo in remote areas or as part of a tight field team. His strong work ethic, adaptability, and broad certification base across ag and pest control make him a valuable asset on complex missions where precision and independence matter.

When he’s not flying, Charlie’s likely in the bush — thriving in the outdoors and staying sharp with his passion for hunting. His hands-on attitude and grounded mindset bring reliability and grit to every job.

Khan Adam

Founder & Director
Innovative UAV operator with broad multi-platform expertise.

Khan brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in the pest control, conservation, and land management sectors. Before founding Provision, he worked across NewZealand’s toughest environments, managing and delivering complex, large-scale conservation projects from high country stations to offshore islands.

Khan is a nationally recognised leader in drone-enabled conservation, having pioneered thermal detection techniques, UAV bait application, and heavy-lift logistics using cutting-edge DJI platforms. He holds over 900 hours of drone flight time —most of it focused on thermal surveillance, mapping, spraying, and precision lifting —and continues to drive innovation at the intersection of conservation and technology.

Alongside his technical expertise, Khan is known for building strong, trusted relationships with clients. His ability to understand operational needs, communicate clearly, and deliver dependable results has helped Provision become a go-to provider across government and private sectors.Backed by a reputation for building high-performing teams and delivering results in the field, Khan leads Provision with a strong focus on reliability, capability, and pushing boundaries.
